Course Content
DRSABCD & CPR
The foundation of all first aid: Danger, Response, Send for help, Airway, Breathing, CPR, and Defibrillation. Master the rhythm and technique for infants and children.
Choking & Respiration
Learn how to identify and clear partial or full airway obstructions. Understand common respiratory illnesses like croup and asthma management.
Allergies & Anaphylaxis
Identifying allergic reactions versus anaphylaxis. Hands-on practice with Epipens and creating an action plan for your child's specific needs.
Seizures & Trauma
Manage febrile convulsions, head injuries, and severe bleeding. We cover the physical response and the psychological tools needed to stay calm.
Course Delivery Info
Our CPR courses are delivered through a blended learning approach. Complete your theory online at your own pace, followed by a practical assessment led by our expert paramedics in the comfort of your home or at one of our community hubs. We ensure you get hands-on experience with modern manikins and equipment in a relaxed environment.
Course Requirements
- Minimum age: 14 years
- Basic English literacy and numeracy
- Physical ability to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor
- Access to a computer/smartphone for online theory
